Jihan Ara Paweyi, daughter of Mullah Nesh’at Pawi, was born in Pawe in 1895. Her family was basically an artistic and scientific family. Jihan Ara studied with her father and the scholars of the time and had a knowledge of Arabic, Persian and Kurdish literature. She was gifted in poetry and at the level of poetic women of the time, but unfortunately her poems were not collected as part of her legacy. Jihad Ara died in 1911 and is buried in the city of Ciwanro.
