Mesture Erdelan

Mestura Erdelan is known as a poet, writer and historian. She was born in 1805 in Senendec, Iran. Mestura emigrates with her family to Sulaimaniyah and settles on the legacy of her ancestor fathers. With her poetic talent, Mestura Erdalani was able to occupy an important place among the poets of her time in a very short time, and with a strong position in the field of history, she was able to be very successful. Mestura Erdalani, also known as Mah Sharaf Khan, was married to Khosro Khan, the son of Emamullah Khan, at the age of seventeen. In 1834, her husband died of liver disease at the age of 29.
